The Ridiculous welcome package for the 9th National Assembly

With the indoctrination of the 9th senate coming soon, it is believed that the lawmakers will be paid ridiculous sums of money as welcome package. Benefits like the furniture allowances, accommodation allowances, car-maintenance allowances-the list goes on and on- are all going to be given, aside basic salaries to this lawmakers. I wonder if the justification of such amounts of money being paid to them is warranted. There are states already poor enough, they can’t pay minimum wages to its workers and its about to get even worse with the increase in minimum wage.
